Description

This acquisition will be Sole Source to Wegener, Inc., 11350 Technology Circle, Duluth GA 30097. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This notice constitutes the only Request for Proposal. A written Request for Proposal will not be issued. The request for proposal document and contract incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18 (6 Jun 00). The SIC code is 7822. The Television-Audio Support Agency intends to procure a quantity of four (4) each Wegener Unity 5000 Integrated Receiver/Decoders (IRD's) for reception of satellite delivered programming from the FOX network. The Wegener 5000 IRD's with specific FOX firmware loaded are the only IRD's that can be used to procure FOX programming via satellite. Delivery location: AFRTS-BC, 1363 ?Z? Street, Bldg. 2730, March ARB CA 92518-2017.
