Description

This project consists of constructing reinforced concrete footings with riprap fillslope protection at five sites along the lake side of the Dark Day Boat Ramp. The project will have two construction time periods to accommodate the fluctuating lake levels, with the first construction period occuring from mid January 2002 to May 25, 2002, and the second construction period will occur between mid October to mid November 2002, when the lake levels recede to a level that will allow completion of work. To reach the work location, from Nevada City, Ca., proceed north on Hwy 49 for approximately 22 miles to the intersection with Marysville Road, turn left onto Marysville Road and proceed ahead approximately 2.5 miles to the intersection with Dark Day Road, turn right onto Dark Day Road and proceed ahead for approximately 0.66 miles to the Dark Day Boat Launch Parking Lot and proceed ahead to the boat launch ramp and the beginning of the project. Estimated total work time 53 days. Estimated price range between $25,000 and $100,000. 100% Payment Bond required. =20
