Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst NJ intends to issue a purchase order for one ohmmeter, Part N umber R1L-E-1, with an option to procure an additional ten in support of the V-22 program. The Government intends to solic it only one source, PPM Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. PPM Inc. is the only known source with the knowledge, exp erience and technical data required for procurement of this item. Firms that recognize and produce this item are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. However, all responsible sources may submit a qu ote to be received within 18 days after the date of publication of this synopsis, which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
