Description

The Naval Air Station Atlantic Test Range has a requirement for a STS rotator assembly, controller and cable. These components must be compatible and interchangeable with the existing equipment. The reliability and suitability are integral issues of the operation and maintenance process. The items being procured are 1 ea, p/n RG-0520a STE rotator assembly; 1 ea, modification of std STE rotator; 1 ea, p/n: CA-1003 STE controller assembly; 1 ea, p/n: 105635-1 50 ft STE cable assembly. The Government contemplates a firm fixed price contract. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Rotating Precision Mechanisms, 8750 Shirley Ave, Northridge, CA under the authority of FAR 6.301-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement. The Government for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement will consider all capability statements received in response to this notice. The Government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the responses received. NOTE: DFARS 252.204-7004 "Required Central Contractor Registration" applies to all solicitations issued on /after 6/1/98.
