Description

Services of an Architectural/Engineer (A/E) for design to: Remodel approximately 2500 SF of Prosthetic and Orthotic fabrication and storage spaces; Remodel West Entrance to hospital to include approximately 1000 SF of enclosed walkway; Remodel approximately 1100 SF of surgery spaces to provide new Ambulatory Surgery reception, holding and storage area. Project will include demolition, asbestos removal, equipment replacement and remodeling. Design is to include preparation of complete specification, drawings, and construction cost estimates per latest VA guidelines. Drawings shall be prepared in ACAD 2000 format. Estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A/E will be required to complete all design work within 150 calendar days of contract award. See number Note 24. NAICS Number is 541310. Architectural Services applies to this procurement. This solicitation is unrestrictive in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration. Program (P.L. 100-656). Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a 25 mile radius of the VA Medical Center, Louisville, Kentucky. Interested firms should submit two copies of appropriate data as described in numbered Note 24 by close of business, January 25, 2002. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
