Description

Request For Information: Sources Sought for repair of Flap Actuator Assembly for the B-1B aircraft, p/n NF53200-08D, NSN 1680-01-141-8977RK. Previous repair source, SPECO is no longer available. Technical Order 16A1-13-1-103 is available. Engineering drawings for the SPECO sub-components may be available also. All interested sources should submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package no later than 11JAN02 to OC-ALC/BC Attn: Joseph Roop, phone (405) 739-7243. SARs must demonstate your capability to repair, an adequate facility, the availability of the necessary special test equipment. A fixed price contract is anticipated once a source is located. Demand is low. There are 8 reparable assets in supply and we currently have urgent requirements to satisfy. We have a large number of SPECO components on the B-1 and B-2 that will have a low demand rate over the next few years but no organic repair capability. A site visit by government engineers may be required as part of the source approval process. The Tinker Small Business website can be accessed at www.tinker.af.mil/pk/smallbusiness.
