Description

The U.S. Customs Service is planning a sole source purchase of one each CS-200 Simultaneous Carbon/Sulfur Determinator Package. The instrument is to simultaneously determine carbon and sulfur employing Induction Heating Furnace and Solid State Infra-Red Detection System. The package includes: Furnace which operates at 18Mz and 2.2kW. The furnace contains combustion tube, automatic cleaner and dust collection system which is programmable with software and capable of supporting vacuum cleaner. The analyzer employs an independent Solid State Infra-Red detectors for each analyte. Range @1gram -carbon 4ppm to 3.5% -Sulfur 4ppm to 0.4%. Precision -Carbon 2ppm or 0.5% RSD, greater Sulfur 2ppm or 1.5% RSD greater. Calibration Linear -multi-point simultaneous for all carbon/sulfur detectors, blanks available for each channel. Analysis time 45 sec. The system is controlled by a Windows based software and in Pentium PC tower, 166MHZ, 1.2GB,15" SVGA monitor, data transmission capabilty by RS232 outpur, HP deskjet 950C printer, Leco 3 place balance with interface built-in, oxygen and compressed air regualtors and a board manual, alarm table and ability to diagnose with automatic leak check, barometric pressure control and cleaning counters for reagent changing.
