Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md. (NSWCIH) intends to award a Sole Source contract to MTS Corporation Eden Prairie, MN. The procurement consists of the written certification and calibration of MTS and Instron load cells (40) E/M 0-5 Kip Axial Load Cells, 1 Range Standard. (1) E/M 0-20 Kip Axial Load Cell, 1 Range Standard. (6) S/H 0-20 Kip Axial Load Cells 1 Range Standard and (2) MTS LVDT system displacement transducers in support of the on-going mechanical property testing and evaluation program. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract plus 3 option years. The Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1) -- Only One Responsible Source. See Note 22.
