Description

The VA Medical Center, Bath New York is seeking professional architectural/engineering firms to perform investigative service, design complete replacement of generator, prepare cost estimate and bid documents (contract drawings and specifications) and provide construction period services and site visits to accomplish a construction project to Replace Emergency Generator at Building 31 at VA Medical Center, Bath, New York. Existing generator located at Building 31 is a 250 KW diesel. Replacement generator shall be a diesel up to 750 KW. Replacement may include but not be limited to batteries, fuel tank(s), transfer switch(s), electrical panels, wiring, exhaust system and intake system. Options relative to sizing and buildings serviced by this replacement generator will be evaluated and included in final design. The following Evaluation Criteria will be used during the A/E selection process: 1. Specialized experience of the firm to perform the work required. 2. Capability of the firm to perform the work within required time frames. 3. Past Performance. 4.=20 Specific experience and qualifications of the proposed personnel assigned to the project design team. 5. Geographic location of the firm=92s working office in relation to the renovation site. Firms desiring consideration must have a working office located within 165 miles of Bath New York City limits. All interested A/E firms are invited to submit 254s and 255s. THIS PROJECT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR EMERGING SMALL BUSINESSES. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
