Description

Provide Architect-Engineer services to design replacement nurse call systems for multiple wards/units at the Seattle and American Lake (Tacoma) Divisions. This acquisition is geographically limited to firms located within a 50 mile radius of both the Seattle and American Lake campuses. Factors for consideration of qualifications for the project team are: (1) specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with the design of nurse call systems in an acute care setting; (2) specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project and track record of working together as a team; (3) capacity of firm to perform work within time limitations; (4) past performance and (5) geographic location of the office which would provide the professional services and familiarity with the area in which the project is located. Work includes but is not limited to: preliminary/investigative services, preparation of construction documents, construction period services and site visits. All interested parties are required to submit qualifications in the form of SF 254 and 255 to the Contracting Officer at the above mentioned address. Firms should include all relevant information regarding past projects which are similar to this project. All responses are to be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 4:00pm local time January 16, 2002. This is NOT a request for proposal.
