Description

NOTE: Any prospective bidder/offeror interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this solicitation must register on our website at http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/ Contractor will not be able to view or download this solicitation on the Internet. This solicitation will be issued in paper format only. Description of Work: Construct a two-story Photographic, Imagery, and Analysis Facility (1346 SM) consisting of split rib and split face veneer block with CMU back-up. The roofing material will consist of fully adhered single ply membrane roof over insulation. Support facilities will include POV parking, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, electrical service, landscaping, erosion control, fire protection, water, backup generator with fuel tank and site improvements. Rooftop packaged units with DX cooling, VAV terminals and DDC controls will serve the facility. Options may be included. The estimated cost of the project is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Network Analysis will be required. COMPETITION WILL BE LIMITED TO 8(a) CERTIFIED CONSTRUCTION FIRMS LOCATED WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA SERVICED BY THE NORTH CAROLINA SBA DISTRICT OFFICE (AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION FIRMS HAVING A BONA FIDE BRANCH OFFICE LOCATED WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHICAL BOUNDARIES SERVICED BY THAT DISTRICT OFFICE). This solicitation will available on or about December 21, 2001. Notification of amendments will be through use of the Internet. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided. It is the contractor's responsibility to check the Internet address provided above as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments.
