Description

Notice of proposed contract action and presolicitation notice. Provide all labor, materials, engineering, and components to repair elevators located in Building #1 and all other associated work, as required by drawings and specifications for the VA Medical Center, Louisville, Kentucky. Work includes, but not limited to demolition, and removal of existing structures. Cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The proposed procurement herein is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Competitiveness Demonstration Program (P.L. 100-656). The NAICS and small business size is 235310 -- $7 million. Requests for proposals must be in writing (no telephone requests will be accepted) and accompanied by a non-refundable $50.00 check, or money order. Make check or money order payable to: "VA Medical Center, #603" and forward to attention of this contracting officer at the address above. Please include complete company name, address, phone and fax number, point of contact for the company and RFP Number. Proposals will be available on or about December 18, 2001. Proposal are due on January 18, 2002 at 4:00PM, local time, eastern time zone in Building T-2, Room T2116. A site visit and preconference is tentatively schedule for January 3, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. Award is subject to to the availability of funds.
