Description

This information is for solicitation SP0100-02-R-0006. The applicable NSN for this procurement is 8305-01-151-1864. The military specification is MIL-C-24910B dated 27 January 1992. The purchase quantity is 1,116,000 yards with four (4) additional options. This purchase requires Bill and Hold. The destination is the Contractor's plant. The delivery period is 330 days after the date of award with twelve deliveries. If the first article is waived then the delivery period is 210 days after the date of the award. There are 12 delivery increments. This solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted purchase that will result in a firm fixed price contract. This is a Best Value acquisition with Source Selection Procedures. The following factors will be utilized in descending order of importance: Past Performance, Quality Assurance Plan, Bill and Hold, Socioeconomic/DLA Mentoring Business Agreement, JWOD. All materials used in the fabrication of the end item are to be furnished by the contractor. The Government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
