Description

Work consists of completely preparing the site for building operations, including demolition, furnishing all labor and materials, equipment, testing, and certification, transportation and supervision necessary to perform and complete all work required to "Replace Fire Alarm System -- Phase I Re-procurement" at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, 3701 Loop Road, East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Work includes the removal of existing fiber optic cabling between each fire alarm control panel and its associated counterpart and the installation of new fiber optic cable in its place. The project also requires the complete re-wiring of Building 135 fire alarm system. The new system shall comply with the latest codes and standards including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), as well as the various applicable VA standards. The estimated cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. This procurement is solicited subject to the availability of funds and is unrestricted pursuant to FAR Subpart 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
