Description

Period of Performance is estimated 07 Jan 2002 -- 31 December 2002. SIC 8731, Size Standard: 500. The Air Force intends to solicit and negotiate with Dr. Hyuk Jae Lee of Atlanta, GA. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The contractor will develop and report on the experimental data and analysis for fretting fatigue and related damage mechanism issues of titanium alloys when subjected to high cycle fatigue using experiments. The Request for quote (RFQ) and Statement of Work and Representations and Certifications will be posted on the ASC PreAward Information Exchange (PIXS) at Wright-Patterson AFB Ohio (http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil/). The RFQ will be issued on or about 12 December 2001 on PIXS (see above address). NO HARD COPIES WILL BE SENT. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote that shall be considered. Facsimile or alternate quotes are not acceptable.
