Description

Title: Adult Continuing Education Coordinator for the Federal Correctional Institution, Cumberland, Maryland. SOL:RFQ405-0041 Due: 01/29/02 POC: James K. Frink, Contract Specialist, 301-784-1000 x 1136 The Federal Correctional Institution, Cumberland, Maryland, intends to award a non-personal service contract to a contractor for continuing education services for the inmate population housed at the facility, under Request for Quotations 405-0041. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: provide expertise in teaching a variety of classes including GED, ESL, and computer and business type courses, securing qualified instructors and quest speakers from the community, identify instructi onal materials for purchase, act as a liaison between community organizations and the government for the purpose of establis hing appropriate adult continuing education activities. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The contract period shall include a base year, not to exceed 12 months and four one year option periods. The anticipated date of solicita tion issue is December 31, 2001, with an anticipated quote due date of January 29, 2002.
