Description

The Contractor shall provide one sloped six-cage (4 baseball, 2 softball) commercial style standard monopole batting cage, completely furnished and installed including site work, foundation, fencing, canopy, lighting, debit card system, pitching machines, ball hoppers, elevator, sump pump, and equipment package per the statement of work (SOW). The Contractor shall provide all associated work including, but not limited to site preparation, grading and earthwork to produce a complete and useable facility. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with manufacturer/supplier's plans and specifications which shall be submitted with the priced proposal. Where a conflict with the minimum requirements below and the manufacturer or supplier's proposal exists, the more stringent shall apply. This solicitation is unrestricted for large and small business concerns. NAICS code for this Acquisition is 235990 and the size standard is $11.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Performance time is estimated at 90days. The anticipated date for a site visit is 14 Jan 02. The anticipated proposal due date is 4 Feb 02 with an anticipated award date of 11 Mar 02. The exact dates will be shown in the Request for Propsal (RFP) when posted on or about 2 Jan 02. All requests for clarification must be faxed to (915) 654-4427. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The contract will be awarded using price and past performance information. The solicitation will be available via the U.S. General Services Administration Electronic Posting System (EPS) Interested parties should subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the FedBizOps website at http://www.FedBizOps.gov and go to the acquisition notification service area to register. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
