Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a firm-fixed price modification to contract N00019-98-C-0125 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in order to procure the installation of four TCAS/IFF kits into the VH-3D executive aircraft and establish an option for two additional installations. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the sole manufacturer and supplier of the VH-3D aircraft and is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to perform this effort in a timely and cost effective manner. White House security requirements dictate that Sikorsky is the only available source. See Note 22.
