Description

The VA Network Business Center is soliciting for a certified Radiation Therapy Technologist to provide direct patient care at the Radiation Therapy Section of the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 E. Seventh St., Long Beach, CA 90822. The Contractor will furnish 1.0 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) services 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, Weekends and National Holidays excepted. The firm fixed price contract will be effective for one base year period, with the Government having the option to exercise four one-year option periods. Radiation Therapy Techonologist must have completed a course in Radiation Therapy Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiological Techonology or a B.S. degree in Health Sciences with training and experience in Radiation Therapy. Technologist must have completed training at least two (2) years prior to assignment. Current certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiological Technology in Therapeutic Radiological Technology, and a fluoroscopy permit with the California Department of Health Sciences (CRT). Anticipate Solicitation issue date on/about January 7, 2002, with responses due on/about January 23, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. local time. This procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.
