Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with AAI Corporation, Hunt Valley, MD for the production of (9) nine Verification Kits, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), and associated data for AN/USM-449A (V) Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in support of the P-3 Aircraft Program, there will be an option for (5) five Verification Kits for Foreign Military Sales (FMS), to include Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), associated data for AN/USM-449A (V) and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE). AAI Corporation is the only known source for producing these kits. The Government does not own the data, drawings, or technical specifications necessary to produce these kits or to conduct a full and open procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may or may not be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. =20
