Description

The Government is performing a Market Research/Source Sought. The Government is interested in obtaining comments, and acquiring potential sources of supply that are capable/interested in fabricating a U.S. Army Engineer Construction, Carpenter's Tool Kit. The Carpenter's Tool Kit market research questionnaire and Description for Purchase can be obtained at the following email address: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm The information can be obtained under Market Survey. The Carpenter's Tool Kit contains the tools to perform the most common type of carpentry tasks encountered in a military environment. The "Carpenter's Tool Kit" as described in the Description for Purchase is intended to serve as a "gang box" that will sto re and transport the personal issue tools for three two-man carpenter teams. The kit consists of a plastic tool chest with a removable lid and three sets of identical tool loads, each one to support a two-man team. A fourth grouping holds tools that are sh ared among the three teams as needed but there is only one of each item in the kit. There are cloth fabric tool carrying bags stored (empty) in the chest so that they may be used each day as needed to carry any extra tools or consumable to or around the jo b site.
