Description

Purpose: This is a pre-solicitation notice for a full and open competition. The objective of this effort is to provide assistance to the Federal Highway Administration, Office of Real Estate Services for programmatic support of research, development, evaluation and presentation activities. The scope of work involves right of way and real estate analysis, the Highway Beautification Act regulations and control, legislation and policy analysis, training, conference and facilitation support and right of way/real estate administrative and support services. Under this contract, the contractor will, on a task order basis, perform activities under the scope of work listed above. The solicitation and all related documents will be posted under RFP Number DTFH61-02-R-00027. NO WRITTEN, TELEPHONIC, FACSIMILE, OR E-MAIL REQUESTS will be honored, however, interested parties can register at www.eps.gov to receive procurement announcements by e-mail. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any solicitation amendments. The ESTIMATED release date of the RFP is January 31, 2001. The resulting contract will be an IDIQ contract for a base year plus four option years. Multiple awards are anticipated. This requirement is a new requirement; there is no incumbent contractor. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 541611.
