Description

The U.S. Coast Guard will issue a solicitation for various paging services. The service must include at a minimum, local, statewide and nationwide. Features must include 2-way messaging, assured messaging, group calling, alpha and numeric calling. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in the Statement of Work and applicable purchase order clauses contained in the solicitation. This solicitation is unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 334220. The small business size standard is 750 employees. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. The contract base year will be 01 February 2002 through 30 September 2002 with four(4)1-year option periods. The solicitation will be posted on this web-site for download on or about 27 December 2001 and shall close on or about 18 January 2002. The following notice is for informational purposes: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
