Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to procure Contractor Logistics Support to include HIMARS Launcher Loader Module (LLM) and Fire Control System (FCS) maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, system software support, supply management of HIMARS spare & repair parts, refresher training, failure data collection, and engineering support as required, sole source from Lockheed Martin Corporation Missiles and Fire Control Dallas (LMMFC), 1701 W Marshall Drive, Grand Prairie, TX for the initial period of performance of July, 2002 through July, 2003, with four 1-year extension options. The majority of CLS tasks will require senior Contractor Field Technicians (CFT) experienced with HIMARS design, training, operational characteristics and maintenance procedures. HIMARS Maturation operator and maintenance technical manuals, training materials, engineering drawings and provisioning data for supply support will not be verified, delivered, or available to the government from the designer/developer, LMMFC, prior to the onset of the period of performance for this procurement. LMMFC retains proprietary rights to the software and remains the only source capable of producing, validating, installing and maintaining appropriate HIMARS operational software upgrades. =20 See Numbered Note(s): 22
