Description

The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Kastle Systems, LLC, 150 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia, 22209, to continue providing security coverage to the interior control access points located at OJP, 810 7th Street, NW, Washington, DC. Currently Kastle Systems provides security throughout the 810 7th Street facility, 7 days a week with 24 hour coverage related to monitoring, service calls, repairs, and customer service. OJP has the ability, with Kastle Systems's satellite computer, to control Kastle access cards and to make and delete entries necessary for OJP to cover its security needs. It is recommended that OJP retain its current contractor and security system because it would not be cost effective to completely remove Kastle's security system and replace it with another system. This purchase order will be negotiated under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 252(c)(1) ? Only Responsible Source with Unique Capabilities. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS.
