- Description
- The proposed effort will award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for Tactics Delvelopment and Training Support for the Land Warrior System. Contractor shall require the knowledge, skills, depth of understaning, and knowledge of the syste m in order to provide immediate response to requirements that are emergin as the system is developed. This will require training packages, to include lesson plans, tactical employment scenarios, student scoring methods and pass-fail training criteria in a ddition to writing the tactics, techniques and procedures manuals on how to train and fight the land warrior system. The contractor will be rewriting and redesigning the marksmanship program for the Land Warior Soldier. There will be requirements for fiv e day support at West Point to demonstrate design, capabilities and operability of Land Warrior. These capabilites are critical as the program moves toward testing. This proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and ne gotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302, Omega Training Group, Inc., 7201 Moon Rd., Columbus, GA 31909. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not t o compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procuremen t.
