Description

The U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command intends to conduct negotiations with and award a contract to Mocon, 7500 Boone Avenue North, Minneapolis, Mn. 55428 on a basis of other that full and open competition, reference FAR 6.302-1 for a Permatran-W 3/31 Master Module and Perm-net 2000 for existing Ox-tran 2/20 system. This equipment incorporates proprietary modulated infrared sensor an d a built-in reference test cell. Mocon is the only company currently in the commercial marketplace, that manufactures equipment for analysis of barrier properties of materials and packages. No solicitation document is available.
