The Department of Defense, TRICARE Management Activity, Aurora, CO, will conduct a one-day industry forum in Aurora, CO. This forum will be held on January 10, 2002, starting at 8:30 a.m., at the Doubletree Hotel, Denver Southeast, (Iliff Avenue and I-225), 13696 E. Iliff Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014, telephone (303) 337-2800. For hotel reservations please call 1-800-222-8733 and refer to the "TRDP Industry Forum" in order to receive the government rate. This forum will focus on industry input on government requirements for the follow-on TRDP contract to provide a voluntary, enrollee-funded, group indemnity insurance plan for retired members of the uniformed services and certain family members in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Canada. Services include underwriting, marketing, eligibility verification and enrollment, premium collection, provider credentialing, claim adjudication and payment, customer services, and processing of appeals and grievances. Interested parties are required to register in advance if planning to attend this forum.
