Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and bids are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAKF23-02-Q-0020 and it is issued as an RFQ. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circu lar 97-27. This solicitation is a proposed sole source award to DAQ, Piscataway Corp Center, 262B Old Brunswick Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854-3756. The NAICS code is 334290 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Items are required NLT 15 Feb 02. The following contract line items numbers are applicable: 0001, Starpin-Keypad changeable firmware version magnetic interface ACU-04889-1, Qty 33 ea; 0002, Mod 2 modem w/line isolation unit ACB 04702-2, Qty 10 ea; 0003, Stargate 1000 w/starpin w/pb 0 289, ACU-04691-1000S, Qty 3 ea; 0004, RADC interior (12vcd-8 point) w/pb-02895 aps-05287-3 ACU-05209-0, Qty 23 ea; 0005, Keypad Shell & Ribbon ACU-0489-0, Qty 10 ea. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this RFQ: The provision at 52.212- 1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The addendum to the provision at 52.212-1 deletes paragraphs (d), (e), (g), (h), and (i). Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to the terms of the request for quote and is most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price related factors. All offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer (copies can be found on Director of Contracting web page). The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Sta tutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition.
