Description

The Defense Distribution Depot Hill, Utah (DDHU) has a requirement for the establishment of an Indefinite Delivery Requirements Contract for the following estimated quantities and sizes of polyurethane foam (MIL-PRF-26514G or current version), polyethylene foam and polypropylene microfoam (CID AA59135/59136 or current versions). The quantities represent the Government's best estimate for the quantities to be ordered during the contract period. Delivery Schedule: The Government requires that all delivery orders placed under any resultant contract(s) be delivered within fourteen (14) calendar days from order date. The Government anticipates that the contract period will be from March 1, 2002 through February 28, 2003. Note: The Government's requirement for supplies under this contract may be affected by the on going Commercial Activity Studies. In accordance with paragraph (l) Termination for the Government's Convenience of FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items clause which will be included in any resultant contract, the Government may terminate this contract or any part thereof. Upon notice of termination from the Contracting Officer, the Contractor must stop all work. The Contractor shall not be paid for any work performed or costs incurred which could reasonably have been avoided. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 326150 and the size standard is 500 employees. See Note #1. To receive awards resulting from solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, your company must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer that shall be considered by this agency. The Government intends to award a contract(s) resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s) using the lowest price technically acceptable source selection process. In evaluation of the lowest price, the Government will determine the advantages and disadvantages that might result from making more than one award (multiple awards). Payments for orders placed under any resultant contract(s) will be made using the Government I.M.P.A.C. Visa Card. Therefore, in order to be considered for an award, the Contractor must be capable of accepting payment for supplies by the Government I.M.P.A.C. Visa Card. It is anticipated that the solicitation and all related information will be posted to this site by January 8, 2002.
