Description

The work in this project is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision as necessary to obtain sewage system pumping and cleaning services for the removal and disposal of solids, liquids and non-hazardous contaminants by means of a combination fixed price and indefinite quantity type contract at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine. The NAICS code for this procurement is 562998 with a size standard of $5,000,000. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The period of performance is one calendar year with options for up to an additional four calendar years. The resultant contract will include Service Contract Act and Fair Labor Standards Act labor clauses. The response date shown above is an estimated date. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE IN THE CONTRACTS OFFICE. The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Be advised for solicitation issued after May 31, 1998, failure to registered in the CCR makes an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts.
