Description

The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance service for two (2) Military Traffic Management Command's GenSet generators located at the Hoffman II, Building, 200 Stovall Street, Alexandria, VA. The contractor shall provide refueling for two 1000 ga l tanks and program generators to perform weekly test at designated time. The contractor shall perform monthly generator checks for fuel, oil, coolant levels, and air cleaners. The Government intends to conduct this acquisition as a simplified acquisitio n for commercial items in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business participation. The anticipated contract type is firm fixed price. The anticipated performance period is 10 January 2002 through 09 Janua ry 2003. The NAICS code for this requirement is 335312. The applicable size standard is 1,000. Anticipated release date of the Request for Quotes (RFQ) is 18 December 2001 with a closing time and date of 10:00 am local time on 07 January 2002.
