NIMA CHALLENGE TO INDUSTRY: NIMA is interested in Industry leading the technology edge in business and commercial best practices to develop new and innovative approaches to enhance deliverables to NIMA customers. GOALS: -- - NIMA desires quality deliverables produced at reduced Contractor production costs and delivered performance that meets or exceeds stated performance requirements. -- - NIMA desires to incentivize innovation under our Production Contracts to meet these goals. BACKGROUND: NIMA is establishing contract background strategy and planning of follow-on solicitation consolidating NIMA's OMNIBUS Geospatial Information and Imagery Intelligence contracts and NIMA's Production Prototype (NPP) contracts. Information on the current contracts may be found on NIMA webpage: http://www.nima.mil/ppsc/ The consolidated solicitation will be using a "Qualifications Based Selection (QBS)" process under FAR Subpart 36.6.
