Description

S-(Change to Previous Notice)Armed Security Guard Services for both the federal Regional Center and the Disaster Processing Center. Both are located in Bothell, WA. The previous response date is changed to: 02/15/2002. Services required are for two armed guards in each location for 14 hours a day, five days a week minus federal holidays. The scope of work includes increases in shift length and duration of indeterminate times in response to natural or man-made disasters and terrorist events. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 561612, 3 year averaged gross income of $9.0 million per year. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the remainder of FY 2002 with up to four (4) option years. This action is applicable under the Service Contract Act. All prospective bidders must submit a written request to the Contracting Officer for a bid package. All request must contain the name of the firm, contact person, phone and fax number and mailing address. Each request must be accompanied with a non-refundable check in the amount of $10.00 The check must be made out to: "Federal Emergency Management Agency". Checks only, do not submit cash. There are no exceptions to this requirement. All bid packages will be mailed to the requestor.
