This will be a firm-fixed price contract for the following item: NSN: 5865-01-268-1999EW, Oscillating Group; P/N: 445654-1, Quantity: 11 Ea. Delivery: 6 months ARO. Annual Options: Option 1, Qty: 1-5, Option 2, Qty 1-10. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 25 January 2002, with the approximate response date of 28 February 2002. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreement, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
