Description
Service is needed to perform Systems/Modular/Freestanding Furniture Maintenance, Design, Repair and Installation in support of the National Air Intelligence Center (NAIC) Buildings 10856, 10280, 10281, 14023 10828, 10829 and 10858 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Specific requirements will include, but not necessarily be limited to the following: Computer Aided Design/Redesign, Furniture Disassembly/Assembly/Reassemble (relocation, reconfiguration of furniture workstations), Maintenance and Repair, Transportation, Warehousing, Storage and Purchase New Furniture. The proposed procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, NAIC Code 337214, size standard of 500 employees. Period of Performance is approximately 15 MAR 02 through 30 Sep 02. Four one-year options may be awarded. The solicitation/RFP will be issued electronically and posted on the ASC PreAward Information Exchange System (PIXS) web site at: http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. NOTE: THE SOLICITATION/RFP WILL BE ISSUED ON OR ABOUT 25 JANUARY 2002 ON THE PRE-AWARD INFORMATION EXCHANGE (PIXS) INTERNET WEB SITE. Once the solicitation/RFP has been posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for updates to the documents. Mr. Michael Higgins has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
