Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks to increase the maximum hours under a current contract that includes document management services and records management to support the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) terminated pension trusteeship program. The additional staff and labor hours for option years 2, 3 and 4 are for the services required include, but are not limited to: ? Incoming participant mail processing ? Participant and plan document preparation, scanning and index and verification. ? Data entry of participant information into Participant Records Information Systems Management (PRISM). ? Continual retiring of pension plan records and archive management of participant documents. This is a continuation of work already undertaken by the existing contractor. In view of the contractor's familiarity with the complexities of the PBGC, extensive systems experience with IOD business systems, program experience with CIPS, the time already spent in learning the work, and PBGC policies and procedures, it is PBGC's belief that it would be in our best interest for the current contractor to complete the tasks under the contract.
