Description

The Contracts Department of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to procure self-contained, self-propelled diesel engine driven, mobile belt conveyors to be used for shore to ship loading and shore to ship offloading of freight for Navy ships. Detailed specifications of the conveyor will be included in the solicitation. Delivery for this contract will be F.O.B. Destination and may include destinations such as Bremerton, WA and San Diego, CA. Estimated quantity is 3 EA; Option CLINs to exercise the purchase of conveyors in the future will be included in the solicitation. This is a fixed-price, unrestricted procurement; all responsible sources may submit an offer. Each offeror must also submit commercial catalogs containing the requested and other related items, with government discounts. Anticipated award date is 1 February 2002. The solicitation (AI2NYCKR C42201) will only be made available upon an email request to the Contract Specialist no later than 4 January 2002. The solicitation will be issued with the anticipation of obtaining current pricing and parts information for all CLINs listed. All prospective offerors are cautioned that in the event the Government is unable to determine price reasonableness based on the offers received and market analysis, the Government will not issue a contract. This decision is solely the decision and right of the Government. All efforts performed and all cost expended by prospective offerors in providing information requested by the solicitation are not subject to reimbursement by the Government.
