Description

This notice is for informational purposes only. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole-source purchase with the University of Cincinnati to conduct critical examination of sound power level emissions from powered handtools used in the construction industry in accordance with ANSI S12.15-1992 and ANSI S12.23-1989 procedures. Handtools to be provided by NIOSH. Assist in the NAVLAP qualification process of the Anechoic Chamber, to include data acquisition, analysis, and maintenance of quality assurance documents. Prepare a comprehensive report including test methods, findings, conclusions, comments on tool improvements, recommendation, etc. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $50,000.
