Description

This project involves the mixing of seed and its application utilizing a helicopter on the Upper Willow Fire on the Santa Rosa Ranger District, of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. This contract will involve seeding of approx. 7300 acres. The helicopter should be equipped with appropriate GPS equipment which can map those areas which were seeded. Project area is located on the Santa Rosa Mountains, approx. 50 miles North of Winnemucca, Nevada on U.S. Highway 95. Estimate start date is January 28th, 2002, with 30 calendar days for completion. Approx. issue date for this solicitation is 01/09/2002. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns.
