- Due to casualty to CGC Dallas, the United States Coast Guard, Maintenance & Logistics Command, Atlantic intends to negotiate a Sole Source Purchase Order with Johnston Boiler Company, P.O. Box 300, Ferryburg, MI 49409, (616) 842-5050 for the purchase of one Johnston 509 Series, Model 509-4PC, Package Firetube Steam Generator, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This purchase order is being negotiated with Johnston Boiler Company because it is the original manufacturer and possesses proprietary information needed to renew the boiler to meet Coast Guard operational requirements. Due to the long delivery lead-time, award is expected to be made on or about 31 December 2001. The Boiler must be delivered F.O.B destination no later than 15 February 2002, USCG Yard, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD, 21226-1797. The NAICS code is 421720 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
