Description

This is a modification to a previous synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-02-Q-3FAN43. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, parts, services, and competence to perform the following onboard USCGC CONFIDENCE (WMEC-619): 1. Resurface Flight Deck, including Talon Grid Cover, using Hydro-blast Method for removal of old Flight Deck Material. Performance period is April 3 to April 17, 2002. Place of performance is the vessel's homepier located at 9235 Grouper Road, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920-4402. Specifications to be provided on request. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer: Price and Technically acceptable. The proposed solicitation listed here will be awarded as part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
