INDUSTRY DAY, DISTANCE LEARNING The Director of Education for Air Education and Training Command, and the Air Force Distance Learning Office (AFDLO) will host an "Industry Day" at Maxwell Air Force Base, located in Montgomery, Alabama on March 5, 1998. The purpose of this gathering is to provide a forum for the distance learning industries to hear how the Air Force plans to capitalize on distance learning for its education and training requirements. Specifically, the AFDLO will review the Air Force vision for distance learning. Then the AFDLO, and other Air Force education and training experts, will discuss current and projected uses of distance learning technologies.
