The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB FL intends to award a purchase order pursuant to FAR 12.6 for the purchase of Oil Spill Containment Equipment. This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Businesses in accordance with FAR Part 13 and 19. The Standard Industrialization Code is 4959, size standard $5 million. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations. The contractor shall provide the following: (A) Oil Containment Boom (2 ea), used to contain oil and fuel spills, model: ABASCO NEO-3 or equal; (B) Drum Skimmer Package (1 ea), used for spill response in water, model: ABASCO 2500 part no. 20003/005 or equal; (C) Diesel Pump (2 ea), used for transfer and recovery of oils and fuels, model ABASCO part no. L40-3D5E or equal; (D) Spill Kit (6 ea), used to contain small spills of oil and fuel, model ABASCO part no. SK95 or equal; (E) Rope Mop Oil Skimmer (1 ea), used to remove floating oil and fuel from water, model ABASCO part no. TXS24P-ELC1-1/2/5; (F) Petro Mop (100 ea), model ABASCO part no. MDP-4 or equal. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition with the following: technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements of the solicitation (i.e. product literature), the terms of any expressed warranty, price and any discounts, and delivery times. OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE WITH THEIR PROPOSAL A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISION AT 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS.
