The draft RFP for commercial air services to replace the Navy's EC-24A program was posted on the NAVAIR home page (www.navair.navy.mil)on 24 February 99. Comments and recommendations from industry were solicited and were due by 8 March 99. Those comments and recommendations have been reviewed. Direct responses to the comments and recommendations will not be made. However, please know that all comments and recommendations were carefully considered and the RFP has been amended accordingly. Release of the final RFP has been delayed. At this time, it appears that the RFP will be posted on the NAVAIR home page in about three to four weeks.
