Description

Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Replace 75 Ton Chiller, Building 3078, Eglin AFB FL. This project is a Total HUBZone Set-Aside. Any HUBZone certified firm who otherwise meets the requirements of the project will be eligible to submit a quote (See FAR 52.219-3). Request for Quote (RFQ) closing date is 1 February 2001, at 2:00PM (CST). An additional website to obtain / view solicitation is http://198.49.121.140/ and type in solicitation number, F08651-01-Q-0001, in the Search Block. In general, work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and performing all operations in connection with replacing a 75 Ton chiller located on Field 3, Eglin Air Force Base FL. The project, more specifically, includes removal of existing air cooled chiller, piping and electrical. The new chiller will be installed and connected up, ready for use. The contractor is responsible for removal of existing equipment. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance period is 120 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued, but the RFQ will be available on the Federal Government's Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov). See Note 26.
