Description

Eglin AFB FL has a requirement for Repair of HVAC at Building 600, Eglin AFB, FL. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials to Repair HVAC at Building 600. It is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning to remove existing air handling unit and provide a complete new system with supply ductwork. In general, the work will consist of removal of existing unit and chilled water piping, ceiling and lights, then installation of new unit, ductwork, diffusers, ceiling lights, and electrical work. The contractor is responsible for a complete new functional system. The performance period is 60 days. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials complete in accordance with the specifications. Quote Closing of 20 March 2001 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. No response to this notice is required and no Source list will be maintained. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued, but the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available on the Federal Government_s Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov). See Note 26.
