Description

Tentative solicitation issue date is 20 Aug 2001. This requisition is being advertised as a Firm Fixed Price, unrestricted, procurement, inviting full and open competition. Deadline for receipt of bids will appear on the front page of the solicitation when issued. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials and supervision to renovate interior of barracks at Bldg 87, all floors, Fort Monroe, VA. Work shall include but not be limited to the following items: Replacement of electrical system, plumbing system, HVAC system, all flooring finishes and windows. Removal of all plaster from the walls and ceilings and installation of new systems. Painting and all other related work to accomplish a comprehensive renovation. Building will not be occupied during renovation. Performance period is one year after date of award. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1522. The applicable Small Business Size Standard including affiliates is no more than $27.5 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 233220.
