This is an information notice to firms interested in competing for overseas local guard service solicitations issued by American Embassies and Consulates. Interested firms should check both the Department's acquisition web site (www.statebuy.gov) under Business Opportunities and the FedBizOps site (www.fedbizops.gov) during the transition from the CBD to FedBizOps. Also, if the regular statebuy site is down, there may be postings (of solicitations, amendments, Q&As, etc.) on FedBizOps. All local guard contractors are encouraged to register with FedBizOps to receive email notification of new document postings. The Department regrets any inconvenience. Please do not respond to this notice. This is not a solicitation.
